Worry

Oh today has been a day, let me tell you! My emotions are all over the place. I just think Lord what is going on? What is your will? You will in my life and my family and my friends  Lord I trust you and I know you do all things for the good but I just don't understand. I know that sometimes it is better not to understand why you do the things you do. I am just confused and a little hurt. I found out some news today and well I was surprised and curious and anxious and worried. I know the Lord does not want us to worry and I pray the Lord will take this worry away but honestly this is something I struggle with. I worry a LOT and about EVERYTHING! This is something I am working on but today is just not a day I wish I had to deal with it. I think to myself who really can I trust? I trust my family and of course God but who else? I know as a Christian I should be open and always try and get people to Christ but really who can I trust? I see my family get hurt by people who are their so called friends and I see people get hurt by other people who claim to be Christians and well I just don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord,
Please help me to trust completely in You and not worry about everything else. Lord fill me with your love and goodness. Help me forgive others and see the good in people as you see in me. Help me to now worry about things I know better to worry about. Please protect my family and keep us always in the safety of your arms. Lord give me strength and endurance to get through whatever is in store for me today and the rest of my days. Lord equip me with the right tools and knowledge to know what to do when I am at a standstill. Lord just overwhelm me with your spirit and your everlasting mercy and grace.

In Your Name I Pray,
Amen

Matthew 6:25-34(NLT)

25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
