Temptation

Temptation! Every person struggles with temptation but some people don't realize that Christians also struggle with temptation no matter if they have been a Christian for an hour or 50 years. It is not a sin to be tempted but it is a sin to give into temptation. Everyday I am tempted with things. Some things are big and others are small but still temptation is a big deal. Its possible to overcome temptation but it takes a step or even a leap of faith sometimes to overcome temptation. I sometimes dwell on the past on how life use to be and it brings me down from time to time but I have to realize that is just a way that I am being tempted. I need to resist the temptation and pray and God will help me to overcome. Here are a few verses about temptation. If you are going through something feel free to comment and I will pray for you to have the strength to overcome! Have a great day.

I Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

James 1:13-14 (NLT)

13 And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong,[a] and he never tempts anyone else. 14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.

Ephesians 6:11(NLT)

11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Mark 14:38(NLT)

38 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

Galatians 5:16 (NLT)

16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

1 John 1:9 (NLT)

9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

All To Jesus I Surrender

I sure woke up in a great mood today! Thank-you Lord! I have come to the realization of something. When I pray, I say Lord this is in your hands and let Your will be done.........but do I really do that? I try and change myself or make a plan on how to get better......is that putting it in God's Hands?? No I don't think so. If I ask God to take things from me and make me more like him but yet I try myself to make things better than really I didn't give it over to God. Some changes do require work from myself but first I need to really let God take over! Have you ever heard....Let go and Let God or Don't Worry about Anything but Pray about Everything? I really need to start doing that. I know the thing I struggle with in life can only get better if I surrender them to God and lay them at His feet! This is why I woke up good today because I have surrendered it all to God and to Him be the Glory, Honor and Praise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a new day and God gave me this day to make it more about Him and less about me!!! Have a blessed Monday!!

Reminds me of a Song.

  1. All to Jesus I surrender;
    All to Him I freely give;
    I will ever love and trust Him,
    In His presence daily live.
    • Refrain:
      I surrender all,
      I surrender all;
      All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
      I surrender all.
  2. All to Jesus I surrender;
    Humbly at His feet I bow,
    Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
    Take me, Jesus, take me now.
  3. All to Jesus I surrender;
    Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
    Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
    Truly know that Thou art mine.
  4. All to Jesus I surrender;
    Lord, I give myself to Thee;
    Fill me with Thy love and power;
    Let Thy blessing fall on me.
  5. All to Jesus I surrender;
    Now I feel the sacred flame.
    Oh, the joy of full salvation!
    Glory, glory, to His Name!

Worry

Oh today has been a day, let me tell you! My emotions are all over the place. I just think Lord what is going on? What is your will? You will in my life and my family and my friends  Lord I trust you and I know you do all things for the good but I just don't understand. I know that sometimes it is better not to understand why you do the things you do. I am just confused and a little hurt. I found out some news today and well I was surprised and curious and anxious and worried. I know the Lord does not want us to worry and I pray the Lord will take this worry away but honestly this is something I struggle with. I worry a LOT and about EVERYTHING! This is something I am working on but today is just not a day I wish I had to deal with it. I think to myself who really can I trust? I trust my family and of course God but who else? I know as a Christian I should be open and always try and get people to Christ but really who can I trust? I see my family get hurt by people who are their so called friends and I see people get hurt by other people who claim to be Christians and well I just don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord,
Please help me to trust completely in You and not worry about everything else. Lord fill me with your love and goodness. Help me forgive others and see the good in people as you see in me. Help me to now worry about things I know better to worry about. Please protect my family and keep us always in the safety of your arms. Lord give me strength and endurance to get through whatever is in store for me today and the rest of my days. Lord equip me with the right tools and knowledge to know what to do when I am at a standstill. Lord just overwhelm me with your spirit and your everlasting mercy and grace.

In Your Name I Pray,
Amen

Matthew 6:25-34(NLT)

25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

My two little blessings

What a week has it been. God has been reminding me of his love in more ways than I can type. In my children, in a song, in a smile, or in a thought. I have had my days where my kids are driving me up the wall and all I want is a break.......I am beginning to think God has noticed. He has given me great patience and understanding with my children. God has started to let me realize more and more how that God gave me my children. He blessed me to give me the responsibility to raise these children and God has let me know he wants me to have more. I feel so loved to know that God gave me two precious gifts from Heaven just for me (and my husband) to love and take care of. God must really trust me to give me two human life's to take care of. I love my children so much and they mean so much to me but everyday I want to pray that the Lord will help me cherish and love them as he has loved me. No love is greater than Gods and No love on Earth (other than God's) is greater than a parents!! I think God wants me to realize that God has touched me from above and that he let me hold three babies inside of me and have two of them here on earth with me!! Creating Life is the most amazing gift God could give parents and I am so thankful he let me experience it! Between my son and my daughter I was pregnant with another little angel. On September 1, 2009 one of my children stayed in heaven. I don't know why God decided to keep this child but I do know that for a while this child was living inside of me! I can't wait until I get to heaven so I can meet my beautiful baby! I don't know if it was a boy or girl! I am sad when that date rolls around and I think about the brother or sister my babies would of had but then I realize that my precious Sofia would not be here if the other baby had stayed. I know that God has a plan for us and I know that he has showed his favor and blessing upon us by giving us two beautiful, wonderful children!!! Thank-you Lord for loving me and Thank-you Lord for my children!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                       ~Some Verses~

Psalm 127:3-5  Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Psalm 139:13-16  For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you,when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
John 16:21 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
